Bryan Gardner has been in the food service industry for more than 20 years. He first started his restaurant career with Texas Cattle Company in Macon, GA in 1993. He grew within the independent restaurant group and helped open two new restaurant concepts, Montego Bay Seafood Grill and Macon Music City Grill. In 2001 Bryan joined the Futren Corporation and managed the food and beverage operation for Indian Hills Country Club, The Georgian Club, and The Ashford Club. Following his tenure with Futren, he started with McAlister’s Deli as the General Manager of the Fayetteville, GA location. Bryan also served on the opening team for new store openings in Wichata, KS and Jacksonville, FL. Most recently, Bryan was the head service trainer with Carrabba’s Italian Grill in Peachtree City, GA while he completed his undergraduate degree from Mercer University in English and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Phoenix.
Bryan lives in Senoia, GA with his lovely wife Ashley and their treasured young son Jax.

Michael J. Smith, restaurant owner, was educated at the Rochester Institute of Technology, obtaining a B.S. in Business Food Management. In the late 1970’s, he was Food and Beverage Director of Rockefeller University, NYC. Mike was the owner/operator of Tucson Café in Greenwich, CT from 1980-2001 which served Gourmet Southwestern Cuisine. Regulars at his restaurant included TV personalities and Sports Heroes. Following his years with Tucson Café, he was the Food and Beverage Director at the Montauk Yacht Club and Marina, Montauk, NY. Influential Hampton’s clientele required attention to detail as well as quality. Mike met his wife Jessica, while working at the Montauk Yacht Club in May 2003. Later in 2003, Mike and his son Rob moved to the Atlanta area. Mike immediately fell in love with the cuisine as well as the people of Atlanta. Mike worked for Carrabba’s Italian Grill for 9 years, the last 7 as the Managing Partner in Peachtree City, GA. Mike’s attention to detail in service, food, and atmosphere rewarded him with a great base of regular customers as well as 4 consecutive Proprietor of the Year awards. Following his tenure with Carrabba’s, Mike began work on the Due South Concept with downtown Atlanta in mind. Contemporary Southern Cuisine and a fun atmosphere are much needed on the south side and Mike wanted to bring this style of cuisine down home to Peachtree City. Mike and Bryan firmly believe that great food and service should be close to home and not require an hour or more drive to Atlanta! Due South is where all roads, families and friends- both new and old can meet for a great time, great service and of course great food!
Mike and Jessica have lived in Peachtree City for 9 years. Much of his family now resides in the south.
